The Experience Western program is designed to introduce prospective students of color to resources available at WCU, and promote a supportive and educational experience. The Western Carolina University Admission Office is committed to fostering a globally diverse learning environment for all students. Our mission is to cultivate and encourage dialogue between diverse cultures, sharing in a common society where differences of all cultures, disabilities, gender and religious backgrounds are accepted and promoted. Western is dedicated to your success and access to higher education.
Experience Western is a collaborative effort among the Offices of Admission, Academic Affairs, and Multicultural Affairs to aid in the recruitment of a well-rounded and diverse student body. Experience Western offers students the opportunity to meet a variety of WCU faculty, staff, and students. Students will receive detailed information about undergraduate admission, academics, financial aid and student activities.
Come and enjoy! Invite your friends! Experience what WCU is all about!

The students will be spending the night in one of our residence halls. There will be a variety of activities, including a campus tour, an Open House, and, of course, lots of fun!
