Biology - Minor

What majors does this minor complement?
The minor in biology complements majors in Chemistry, Natural Resources, and Health & Human Sciences. Students will be competitive for job opportunities in private industry, government and a variety of health related fields.

What are the students in the program doing?
Biology minors are training for a variety of options including career development and/or post-baccalaureate education. 

What are the professors in this program like?
We are an enthusiastic group of teacher/scholars.  Our strength lies in our diverse but overlapping areas of expertise. Faculty are all published authors in their respective fields.  Some have won teaching awards and been successful in attracting external funding to support their research efforts.
