Tailgating parking/areas are organized into four general categories:
- Alcohol Free Areas: Walker A, Walker Hall, Scott Hall, Belk Lots (No permit needed)
- Alcohol Permissible Catamount Areas: H.F.R., FPAC, Field House Lot, Camp Lot, Camp Gym/Athletic Facilities, Ramsey Creek Lot, Stadium Lot (No permit needed)
- Alcohol Permissible Areas for Visiting Fans: Baseball Lots and/or additional designated areas to be identified as needed (No permit needed)
- Alcohol Permissible WCU Student Area: the Field House Lot with tailgating permits (see regulations below)
Current WCU students, faculty, and staff who wish to tailgate in the Student Alcohol Permitted Fieldhouse lot must fill out and submit an application. Anyone is welcome to visit students in this lot. The application for a permit must be submitted to the University Center, and space availability is first come - first served.

Permits for the first game on August 28 vs. Shorter will go on sale Tuesday, August 19, at 8:00am at the Information Desk on the 2nd floor of the A.K. Hinds University Center.
STUDENT TAILGATE PERMIT COSTS:
Single Game Permit: $25.00
Season Package Permit (All 6 Home 2008 Football Games): $120.00
*No other discount or combination price packages are available!
*Permits will go on sale the Monday before the home game at 8:00am and will stop being sold that Friday at 5:00pm. Permits cannot be purchased in advance of one week for each game.
