Located just off the quad, the “UC” is a great place to meet friends, relax, and get more involved in WCU life. The center is home to a food court, movie theater, video and commuter lounges, and our campus club. It also provides meeting space for our many student organizations.
Campus Bookstore
From buying or renting your first textbook to renting your cap and gown, you’ll soon see that the campus bookstore supplies nearly everything you need while you’re at WCU.
Campus Transportation
WCU’s on-campus police provide transportation around the campus via a free shuttle service.
Fitness Center
Keep fit with group classes, work with a personal trainer, swim laps in the pool, and learn more about feeling and being your best.
Multicultural Affairs
The Office of Multicultural Affairs provides support for WCU’s minority-student population through a variety of programs, including scholarships, student organizations, and activities.
Women’s Center
Located in the University Center, the Women’s Center provides resources, support, and advocacy for women on the WCU campus through a variety of programs and activities. These programs are regularly offered for all students.
Adult Learner Resources
WCU understands that each student’s college experience is unique, so we provide a variety of resources tailored to the needs of nontraditional students, from child care to shuttle services.
Services for Students with Disabilities
WCU strives to support students with disabilities by offering a variety of free services, including career, academic, and personal counseling; tutoring; advisement; and academic disability services.
Enrollment Support
The Office for Enrollment Support ensures a smooth transition into life at WCU through a variety of enriching programs, such as the Family Association, Experience WCU, Family Weekend and faculty and student mentoring.
Student Leadership Development Program (WE LEAD)
WE LEAD is WCU’s comprehensive student leadership enhancement and development program designed to teach students leadership skills through a variety of activities.
Ramsey Center
The Ramsey Center houses an 8,000-seat arena, the Department of University Athletics, University Publications, and other recreational facilities for students.
Assessment Activities
All departments and programs within the Student Affairs Division complete an annual assessment plan. At the end of fall and spring semesters, units submit summaries of assessments done in their areas.
